February happenings.

After returning home from our Island Park adventure it was time to get back to the reality. I continued to feel crappy and (as previously mentioned) ended up going to the doctor and got diagnosed with bronchitis and a sinus infection. I had to miss 2 nights of work but it was worth it be able to sleep and rest and the codeine cough syrup wasn't too bad either :)

Valentine's day was that Friday and of course I had to work so we celebrated that weekend.  I was lucky to have 2 pretty awesome valentine's this year!

at work that night sporting my mask from still being sick. We decided to make the best of it and say "we mustache you a question- would you be our valentine?"
We watched the kiddos one Saturday afternoon and I learned a little of what I'm in for when we have our own kids- I leave jax and Russ alone for 2 seconds and next thing I know us girls are under attack from home made slingshots from Russ's antlers.

Russ and his cousin Wade took Crush shed hunting to the Bookcliffs one weekend, and to say he was excited about their finds would be an understatement! to shoot a buck like this is a once in a lifetime buck and they were pumped. Russ found the same deer's shed from last year while Wade found this years (hence the 2 different colors)

while the boys were away I took the adventure of taking these 2 on a walk together

We have loved the sunshine! even if it's just a tease of it here and there I'll take it! one particular sunny day Remi and I ventured up the canyon with Ash and the kiddos. They got to ride their bikes and scooters and eat snacks on the lawn- and I got to chase Remi around. It was a great day and got us even more excited for summer!

Remi continues to get way to big for my liking (obviously). We took the dogs up to Wallsburg one sunday afternoon and Remi got to ride in the front of the truck with us and it definitely was a reminder of her growing size....

she got a little tuckered out trying to keep up with the other two dogs
