Sadie's Firsts

Seeing as how my baby is almost a year old now... It seems like a good time to get caught up documenting some of her firsts.

First car ride home. What a terrifying experience to just be handed a perfect little human being with on instruction manual and sent on your way!
First Bath at home with Grandma. We were lucky enough to have my mom come stay the first couple nights. She gave Sadie her first bath at home that night to teach Mom and Dad what to do : )
First doctors visit! As you can tell she was not impressed.....
Dad's first time bathing baby girl! and first time bathing a baby ever. He did great
First time under the bilirubin lights :( Sadie's bilirubin levels had been slightly elevated since discharging from the hospital. We had gone in frequently to get her levels checked and while they kept increasing slightly- on Tuesday April 26 2016 we were told we would have to put her under the bilirubin lights. It was such a heartbreaking moment! She hated it! we finally got her to calm down by putting her on her tummy but it was still miserable. We didn't leave her side the whole time and mom stayed awake that whole night watching to make sure she didn't take her goggles off or get too upset. Thank goodness her levels improved drastically the next day so we only had to do lights for 24 hours.
                                                             First time meeting the dogs!
First time in stroller and first walk with mom! We went up Provo Canyon with aunts and cousins and it was so nice to get out and enjoy the weather.
First time in big girl bath! The cord finally fell off at 2 weeks old. She loved being able to get in the bath.
First memorial Day and first time down on Grandpa Olsen's farm!
 First camo outfit :)
First rodeo! Slept through the whole thing but deep down I know she loved it!

First starting to smile! cutest most happiest baby ever! She has a smile that takes up her whole face when she smiles real big. Shes the cutest thing ever!
